Splash-Along Songs

CLICK TO LISTEN

Jay Mankita's 'Splash-Along Songs' is all wet, with songs about oceans, rivers, lakes, and the creatures that swim in them, plus rain, tears, and drinking water.

As all Jay's shows do, this concert also promotes books, reading, and of course, libraries!

Its great for summer reading programs especially for water themes, and can be presented any time, year round at schools and other venues.

Outdoor, hands-on, alternative energy demonstrations with Jay’s vegetable oil-powered van, the ‘Veggie Voyager’, go very well before or after the show.

Jay provides a beautiful backdrop to set the scene, as well as his own powerful, state–of-the-art sound system.

More Reviews
It was a gentle humorous message about a very important topic--the future of our home, the Earth...The pacing was good and you certainly drew in the audience...The whole audience was captivated...We appreciated the professional way the arrangements were handled...This was a thoughtfully prepared program that was lots of fun! - Janet Ottman, Johnson City Public Library, NY

Your interaction with the audience, drawing them in to be a part of what you were doing rather than allowing them to just be spectators was wonderful.  You had a definite message, but you didn't preach.  The kids will remember it.  Hopefully adults will, too!...Keep writing those wonderful lyrics and poetry!

The songs, stories, and active participation were wonderful.  The wild animal display provided a colorful backdrop for the audience . . . There was a little something for each age group in this show--interactive stories for little ones, focus on endangered animals, songs and poetry that all ages enjoyed...Many parents have come in since the show and commented on how much fun they had and how important it is for children to be made aware of the plight of endangered animals and what can be done to make a difference.
