This is the science fiction, adventure-musical theater, written and produced by Jay Mankita and featuring Jay as the Wizard, Dinosaur, Caveman, Pirate, and Time Traveler, accompanied by Dave Bell on keyboards, harmony vocals, computer voice, and sound effects. This very participatory show encourages personal and social responsibility: We can learn from the past, apply what we learn to the present, and thereby create a better future. This show was previously presented over 400 times in schools and libraries throughout NY, NJ, and New England, but was retired for a number of years before being revised, rewritten, and restaged for the 21st century.
As in all of Jay’s concerts, a positive, ethical perspective runs throughout. His songs and stories promote self esteem and a real sense of community, as well as the idea that each one of us can make a real difference in the world.
